Christa and Alex‘s kids, playing the other game I brought them. Jaipur was a *little* challenging for 6-year-old Kai, but 8-year-old Belle got it down FAST, and apparently beat her dad in the second game.
It’s a fun, fast card game, where you’re trading spices, gemstones, gold and silver, and something green, which I can’t remember what it’s supposed to be, maybe vegetables?
It also incidentally gives kids good practice at addition, has a fun camel mechanic, and as a bonus, manages to have a South Asian setting without any icky problematic elements. There’s also a good iPhone version of the game, if digital gaming is more your jam.
