I’m finishing up Laurie J. Marks‘s _Fire Logic_ this morning, in between putting up holiday decor and prepping for the open house tomorrow…
…and am a little embarrassed to admit that I spent many years thinking I’d read this book and hadn’t liked it much (and was thereby confused about why so many of my friends raved about this book and the rest of the series)…
…and have now realized that I must have confused it with some other book entirely, because a) I have definitely never read this book before, and b) it’s terrific. I’m looking forward to reading the four-book series over the holiday break!
So, apologies to Benjamin Rosenbaum, and all the other people whose enthusiastic recommendations I previously met with lukewarm demurrals. I was wrong. Forgive me.
