Not only did I buy myself the cutest little Valentine’s present of adorable earrings, BUT they are made by English professor Madhurima Chakraborty, who is running for Oak Park library board (Oak Parkers, you should vote for her) AND 50% of her sales this month at Procrastibeading are donated to support Represent Oak Park!
How good does it feel knowing that of the $30 I paid for these, $15 goes directly towards supporting wonderful Black candidates for Village trustee, such as Chibuike Enyia, Anthony Clark, and Juanta Bennett Griffin? Very very good.
