Okay, question about The Expanse. I’ve finished reading book 4, and am watching the last episode of season 4 now. It’s been fascinating, seeing how they adapted things from book to TV — the first book was pretty close, but they made some major changes in later seasons, adding entire new plots, changing the role of certain characters, etc.
Putting questions of adaptation aside from now, (and avoiding spoilers for those who haven’t had a chance to watch, please), for those who love this show, I’d love to know:
– what is it you particularly love about The Expanse? (book or TV)
I’m going back to my own space opera now, and I’m thinking a lot about the kinds of stories I write, and to what extent there are elements here that I want to try to incorporate.
