Anand’s 10th birthday! Party color scheme chosen to match the colors he picked for repainting his room — sunny yellow walls and a dark blue sky studded with stars.

Most popular element of party is a little unclear, but two aspects in strong contention: basket of weapons in backyard & chocolate coins scattered across tables (“Anand, is it like this at your house ALL the time?”). My attempt to get his classmates to play board games was completely ignored in the excitement of being in a new space + party. Oh well!
