Delighted to attend newly-elected Illinois representative Theresa Mah‘s inaugural party last night! Theresa did her doctorate at the U of C in social and cultural history, and among other positions, was a professional colleague of mine at UIC, teaching in the Asian American Studies program.
Super-excited that this smart woman will be representing the 2nd district, located in Chicago, which includes Back of the Yards, Bridgeport, Brighton Park, Chinatown, McKinley Park and Pilsen.
