UIC students: “Gender and Women’s Studies will be gathering on the quad on Thursday, November 10 at 11 AM to mourn, to hold each other up, and to recommit to working together to confront the ugly forces of racism, misogyny, xenophobia, et al. that gave rise to this election outcome, and threatens to destabilize so much of what has been accomplished until now.”
I’ll be there at the beginning, before going to teach. I imagine many of the Global Asian Studies Program faculty will be there too.
