Miss Kavya is having a space-themed birthday party tomorrow, but since we’re not doing a party at the house, but just going to a venue (inflatable play space), the party prep has been minimal. We went to Target to pick up cupcakes, and she looked a little disappointed at the options available. There were no space cupcakes to be seen. But little did she know, mommy had a cunning plan.
Ten minutes was all it took to remove the plastic picks, spray the cupcakes with food color mist, sprinkle them with two different kinds of blue sprinkle and a scattering of silver stars, and then I called her back into the room to take a look. Kavi said, “Whoa. Epic!” Words to warm a mother’s heart. 🙂 Thank you to the inventors of color mist and edible silver stars!
