Come back and pick up Kev, go to campus and teach two classes. In one class, teaching Minal Hajratwala's _Leaving India_, chapter 4, in the other, Roth's "Defender of the Faith" and Oates's "Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been? Collect second big set of papers to grade. Then lunch with Jo Walton, a nice last-minute plan; she's doing a flying visit through Chicago. Home to deal with backlogged e-mails and grading; if I am good, rewarded with more gardening. Onward.
