Writing day at my house with visiting SF writers (well, some are local). Nancy Hightower, Valya Dudycz Lupescu, Mary Robinette Kowal, Nene Agneta Ormes, and hopefully Wesley Chu. Funfun. I have seduced them all with Sri Lankan food. Nancy and Valya are settled in and diligently working, and I've made the first dish for lunch, a mixed-veg fry (green beans, corn, and tomato). More to come.
My student worker will be here shortly, and I need to check in with her and get her started on some PR work for both Jaggery and the Kriti Festival. And then I'm going to dive into revisions on "Firestarter," my Sri Lankan steampunk story. Yo ho ho, a writer's life for me!
