It's fun, some of the things I've done in the last few weeks to promote the Kickstarter project. For example, I wrote a very very short thing for Joanne Merriam's 7x20, a Twitter project celebrating very very short literature:
"She swore she would never compare breasts to mangoes again. So plump, so juicy, so orange."

There are definite little bumps in donations every time one of these goes up, which is nice, since typically the Kickstarter graph has a big peak at the beginning, a long trough, and a big peak at the end. I don't know if I'm going to make it -- I'm at about $2250 now, and it's a ways from there to $8000. But it's definitely not impossible, and I'm going to hustle like mad for the next week, doing more interviews and promos and such. Eight days left to fund the project!
