Simone came for four hours this morning -- not only did she watch the kids for hours (and let me catch a nap), but she even hauled some basement boxes around that were bugging me. True friendship. She was rewarded with Anand (who has a cold and is snuffly) falling asleep on her. He can be sweet, when he's not being a loon.
Soon after Simone had to leave, Minal took over child entertainment; she had brought some Indian clothes passed down from nieces and nephews, which the kids took great delight in, and has now dressed them up and taken them out for a walk. Hopefully they'll get nice and tired and go to bed early. One can dream.
