I've been away for the internet for four days, and I am just now catching up with the news. I am so terribly sorry to hear about the tragic loss the Polish people have suffered. As if their country hasn't been through enough already.

I grew up in a Polish-Catholic neighborhood, and studied Polish language and culture for years, and still think very fondly of Poland and its people.
