It should have a good…

It should have a good weekend -- we had a great time at the farmer's market Sunday morning, with Kavi delightedly running around the playground with daddy while Ellie and I shopped for fruits and veggies, and my writing workshop Sunday afternoon was fun. I don't remember what we did most of Saturday, but I think it was fine -- mostly working, I think, being productive? Oh, and Sugi stopped by for dinner, which was nice, if too brief. Sounds good, right?

But various things went wrong yesterday evening, ending up with the whole family in a foul mood, and then Kavi woke up around midnight last night and wouldn't go back to sleep unless she was lying on top of me, so after an hour or two of attempts to get her back into her crib, Kavi ended up spending the night in our bed, which meant many hours of interrupted sleep. And then today the forecast said thunderstorms so we drove in instead of biking, but it's a gorgeous morning, perfect for biking, and the forecast now is much milder so we probably could have biked in, and I'm bitter about that. All in all, sucky way to start the week. And I have a pile of grading to do in the next hour. Pfui.

Hopefully the day will improve.
