Kavya's First Bath
We expected her to be outraged, given her regular howls of protest during diaper changes ("oh, the indignity!"), but Kavi took her first bath with a philosophical calm. I wouldn't claim she actually had fun in the tub, but she didn't seem to mind it.
Maybe she's just fascinated by my first full-fledged rose of the season -- that's a lovely "Rio Samba" in bloom, with a delicate fragrance. "Intrigue" has also bloomed, and has a scent so strong that Kevin described it as if someone had dipped the rose in a bowl of rose essence. A bit too heavy for my tastes, but definitely dramatic!
