Nice. I've just been asked to be a juror on the Selection Committee for Headlands' 2007 Artist in Residence Program. I said yes. :-) Although now that I've looked at their website in detail, I think maybe I want to go be an artist in residence.

The 'emerging, mid-career and established' writers among you should take a look -- the program is free, comes with room and board, and if accepted, you can spend one to six months living in gorgeous Marin County, possibly even with a stipend. It's too late to apply for this year, but you can mark your calendars for next year. Sounds really excellent.
