This evening, I'm appearing at The Book Cellar in Chicago for their first Local Authors Night. It's not just a reading; I was asked to bring some curry powder along. I'm not certain why now -- perhaps I'll throw it at the audience.

Still not quite caught up with student work, but closer. Hopefully I can finish it this morning. I have a meeting on campus in the early afternoon, and then the afternoon I'll run a few more errands and then come home and rest for a bit.
Perhaps they want you to curry favor with the audience?
