Some quick book news though:
I'm pleased to see that BiM was released into the wild through Book Crossing -- the reader reviews seem pretty positive so far. We'll see where it goes...
Less clearly positive is the NY Times short review, but I think I should be very grateful that it was reviewed at all, and that it wasn't a pan. Some of the other books reviewed in that set got completely slammed, ouch. I think this review will probably convince some people to buy the book, and will certainly get my name out there in the literary world. So it's all good, even if I could wish that she hadn't called "Seven Cups" a cross between Penthouse and Arabian Nights...
Do you guys really think that "Nearly every chapter ends on a note of abject hopelessness"? That wasn't what I intended...
