Although, on the other hand, the sun is up and it's nice and clear and bright out, and I'm feeling fairly virtuous and diligent. It's not quite like that period in Utah when I was regularly waking up at 5 to write -- that felt extremely virtuous -- but it's vaguely reminiscent.
I did manage to hook up with Angeli last night, and rehearsal was good. At least one person really liked the piece, which was nice to hear. It's still a bit loose and floppy, but I think we can tighten it up today and then we'll be in good shape for Sunday's show. Angeli and Nikhil (who'll be playing sitar under us) are coming by for dinner and rehearsal tonight. I cook curry. Veggie this time, which I haven't done in a while.
Today, I work until 10-ish, which should give me plenty of time to get caught up on remaining SLF mail *and* finish the Blowfish anthology (oh, see my diligence, see my optimism). Then gym, then hopefully meeting up with Sapna around lunchtime to give her my manuscript. More hours to work this afternoon (plus a grocery run), followed by cooking and rehearsal starting around 5:30, going 'til 9. Full day. Better get to it.
