Yay!
It was surprisingly difficult trying to put together a well-balanced jury, with sufficient men (for some reason, Karen and I kept coming up with women's names), academics as well as writers, sf as well as fantasy, etc. And as it is, there's this whole Chinese/Korean thing going on with Heinz and Larissa and Maureen which I swear we didn't plan. I just bet John and Kelly are secretly working on novels set in East Asia, even as we speak. But regardless, I'm very happy with the final grouping, and I hope they enjoy all the short stories we will now force them to read. :-)
