Okie, managed to get outline down. Pretty happy with it too; had some decent characterization insights. Turns out that I misunderstood the word count thingie -- I was going off the count on Kathryn, forgetting that I'd single-spaced that manuscript. So, in fact, they only want 5000 or so words by tomorrow. Piece of cake -- in theory. In practice, it depends on how easily I can find a voice for this piece. Part of me wants to start working on it now, but honestly, I'm so tired, I'd probably make a mess of it. Instead, Buffy-watching. Yay, Buffy!
