Mmm...sleepy baby. I had gotten onto this late-night schedule, right? So last night, I couldn't fall asleep until after 1. But I needed to get up early-ish today to do some revisions of
Kathryn for Duncan (for some important meeting at Gotham (division of Penguin/Putnam), so I set the alarm for 7 a.m. Didn't actually get out of bed 'til 8, but managed to make tea and then actually sit down and revise for two hours, and I think the version I sent off to Duncan does a semi-decent job of addressing his needs. We hope. So now I'm done with the urgent stuff for the day, and kind of want to just climb back into bed, but then I'll just end up frustrated with not getting enough done.
Roshani's studying at home today (has another board exam shortly, I think), and invited me to come by, have lunch, study with her. I think I will. I'll take along something from the exam list to read (probably the Mahabharata), and bring my computer and headphones in case I feel up to trying to revise one of the Sri Lankan stories. I feel kind of revision-y today. That'd be a good thing to do.
It's satisfying, finishing off something important on schedule. I haven't done that in a while, and I like the feeling.
