Hey, my dears. Happy…

Hey, my dears. Happy spring, a day or two late...I'm going to share with you a poem that Jed sent out...

For winter's rains and ruins are over,
And all the season of snows and sins;
The days dividing lover and lover,
The light that loses, the night that wins;
And time remember'd is grief forgotten,
And frosts are slain and flowers begotten,
And in green underwood and cover
Blossom by blossom the spring begins.

--Algernon Charles Swinburne,
from the Chorus from _Atalanta in Calydon_

It's the first real day of my Spring Break, and I have so many projects hovering...top of the list is transcribing the Carol Queen interview, now that I have a foot pedal-controlled tape recorder that Ed loaned me, which will make my job a lot easier...

Wish I could report that I accomplished a lot this weekend, but mostly I just relaxed and had fun. That's good too, though. Impressive Bardic Circle at Greyhaven -- the best I've beeen to -- on Saturday night, and Sherman came over for dinner (Cliff cooked!!!) last night and stayed for a game of Encore with El and Ian -- Cliff and Sherman teamed up and won, but just barely -- a very tight game. Hmm...that was a lot of dashes...

Hey, I get to send out contracts to my authors today, or at least to the ones who have gotten me addresses. Woohoo! :-)
