So, I tried something new, growing broccoli rabe, and I basically threw the seeds in the soil and ignored them, occasionally watering when it was really hot and dry. I vaguely meant to go thin them at some point, but I did not actually do so. So at this point, advice? Should I thin these,

It’s been a really busy week, but I took ten minutes yesterday to gather flowers from the early autumn garden and make little vases. Left to right in the second pic: a) sedum and mums b) gladioli c) black-and-blue salvia d) sedum e) coneflower, butterfly bush, Russian sage, ageratum, pinky-winky hydrangea
I wasn’t sure that native solidago / goldenrod would press well, but I think it does. Makes for interesting shapes, and a nice bright yellow.
