I don't know him well at all, but I remember his kids, who are about my little sister's age. Nice kids. We used to have birthday parties together, a few decades ago. I feel so sorry for his family.

Shocking news; someone my family knows, Nachimuthu Socrates, has been arrested for suspected involvement with terrorists. They're claiming he tried to bribe State Department officials with an initial $1 million to take the Tigers off the terrorism list. I don't know if he really did it or not, but if he did -- oof. What an idiotic thing to do.
