I swear, I am going to get all the summer photos off my phone. This is a little more from Natural Bridges State Park, near UC Santa Cruz.
You CAN swim here, but it’s immensely kelpy — you’re basically wading in a thick sea of kelp for a while. It’s probably clear further out, but I’m not a strong swimmer, so I don’t usually try to go far. The area to the right is the clearest, and some young women were having a beginner surfing lesson there.
You can swim out to the big rock, and even swim through the hole in it, but no climbing, please. It would disturb the birds.
