Question for experienced SF/F conrunners — is there any reason (other than ‘this is how we’ve always done it’), why we can’t separate out the Hugo voting process from the WorldCon administrative process?
So that the Hugo voting could be run by a consistent group from year-to-year, with some reasonable expectations of accountability and ownership?
The WorldCon folks could still run the award ceremony portion.
