Here is something random and lovely — I took some time today to drive down to Hyde Park and get a tour of the very impressive Logan Center for the Arts at the The University of Chicago from its director, Bill Michel. This place is AMAZING. We took a quick pic in the University Theater lounge — UT is where we met, lo these many many years ago, where I was generally a humble light board op (and having a ton of fun in the process).
Alumni, next time you’re in Chicago, definitely come check this place out — catch a show, visit an exhibit, hear all the incredible ways they partner with community South Side arts programs. And if you need a venue, there are some gorgeous meeting and party rooms with extremely nostalgic views of the Midway and the campus. Now I’m trying to figure out an event, so I have a reason to host a party in one of those rooms. 🙂
