I spiked my hair up instead of down today. Now I don’t know which I like better. 
But I do know that part of why I like making jewelry is that it makes me happy when I wear jewelry made by friends of mine.
These earrings are by Dima Ali, and I just picked them up at the Southtown art fair organized by glass artist Maia Stern; I think they’re perfect to pair with the floor-length white linen dress I’m wearing to try to beat the 100F heat today.
Luckily, I only had to walk about two blocks in it, going from air conditioned car to air-conditioned building. It was fine! The real question is, will my garden survive…?
