Looks like we’re going to do a Tornado / Perennial launch event at the South Asia Institute (1925 S. Michigan Ave.) in October — tentatively 10/21, 3-5 p.m., to be confirmed shortly. But you COULD save the date now. 
Tickets will be free, refreshments will be provided by me, there will, of course, be books for sale. (I’ll have the cookbooks there, as well as Bodies in Motion and The Stars Change.)
I’m hoping to find some other people to read with me, so it’s not just a basic book launch, but more of a celebration of local South Asian writers, comedians, singer-songwriters… (If this is you, feel free to mention in comments — if it goes well, we may turn this into an ongoing series.)
