Getting a Hang of the “Trace” Thing

2 of 3. I’m getting the hang of the whole ‘trace’ thing, which is nice — it was a little confusing at first, but it actually is just like when you’re trying to get your royal icing to the right consistency for outlining versus flooding. Not that you should eat the soap. Don’t eat the soap!

Even if this one does look like chocolate pudding.

This one is scented with rose oil & rose geranium oil. If you look up the uses of, say, rose geranium oil, you get paragraphs and paragraphs of claims, and I have no idea what, if any of those, are actually based in science, so you’re not going to see me making a lot of comments about what any given soap will ‘do’ for you…I’m afraid the best I can do is list the ingredients and then leave it to you to research. 🙂

It also incorporates a little French rose clay, which apparently is a blend of highly mineralized pink kaolin clay and Moroccan lava clay. It’s supposed to be nice for sensitive and acne-prone skin, but again, I don’t really know.

But French rose clay sure sounds fancy!
