I tried a new lining on the zippered bags (had to re-watch bits of the video to remind myself of the steps, but only made one mistake that needed fixing, not bad for something I last did weeks ago — I have NO memory…), and it’s a little slippery to work with, but I love the luxe look of it so much, it’s worth it. Lots of pinning!
The end result is perfect for a cosmetic bag, or jewelry, or your favorite artist pens and pencils, or knitting notions — anything that deserves a little luxury.

Sorry I can’t link to the fabric — this is left over from a dress I altered (shortening it to make a matching mask and headband, if I’m remembering right). I have enough fabric for two bags, I think, and then it’s all gone. Such a romantic print; I love it. I’d love to design something like this someday…
