Alex took me out to dinner at Bar Acuda on my first night in Kauai. We had:
• North Shore Honeycomb- with Humboldt Fog goat cheese, crisp Fuji apple, ciabatta bread (yummy, recommended)
• Steamed Clams- white wine, butter, chili lemon crisp, & ciabatta bread (good, rich)
• a variation on French onion soup they had on special, with the most robust broth I’ve ever had in such a soup — tasty, but definitely intensely flavored, the kind of thing you want in small sips
• Kailani Farms baby greens- medjool dates, goat cheese, toasted walnuts, & sherry vinaigrette (I actually didn’t try this because I was getting pretty full, but I’m sure it was fine)
• Warm Flourless Chocolate Cake- with vanilla bean ice cream (yummy, of course)
