Saturday morning at FeTNA was an unexpected treat — Sri Lankan American writer Nayomi Munaweera was in town, staying at a friend’s place in Brooklyn, so I stole a few hours to go over and have breakfast there with her. She even gave me ripe mango, which is the sign of true Sri Lankan love.
We completely forgot to take a selfie together because we were so busy talking writing and politics and culture, so here is a selfie from a previous meal we shared together.
