Picked up a copy of Dixit for the kids at Fantom Comics — I’ve heard about this game before, never played. You have beautiful cards, and you’re supposed to give a clue about the card you have, and the other people submit cards that go with that clue, and then try to guess which was the ‘storyteller’s’ card — so kind of like Apples to Apples, but with fairy tale-themed graphics?
It was mildly fun, but I think would work better with more people — we only had 3 people who wanted to play, and it’s designed for 3-8. Tagore got reasonably into it; Anand was a little bored, and didn’t make it through a whole game. It’s not so easy, finding a game that’s equally engaging for ages 7 and 12.
