NY trip — dinner in the city with three of my favorite editors (Ellen Datlow, Sheila Williams, Diana M Pho), along with Alex Gurevich and Susan Lee.
We ate at Tavern on Jane — great ambience and tasty food, though the place was a little loud for those of us with older ears. 
I tried the Charleston (because Yelp reviews were glowing) — a burger with pimento cheese, fried sour dill pickle, and low-country mayo, which was interesting taste-wise, but too rich for me.
Ah well! I like to experiment when I’m eating out with foods I wouldn’t cook for myself at home…
