Quick note that we went to see Spider Man: No Way Home in the theater today, the first time we’ve all gone to see a movie in a theater since March 2020, and it was just terrific. I cried at least three times, Kavi cried twice, Anand was completely riveted throughout, and Kevin said he really liked it too. They just did a terrific job with this one. I did find one minor plot hole, but it didn’t actually bother me.
For locals, the Lake Theatre requires vaccination cards and masking in the theater. They do sell concessions, but we skipped eating / drinking for the movie. For the midday showing on Sunday, the theater was maybe 1/4 full, but this movie has been out for a while; it may be more full for new releases.
