One of my aunts recently relocated to Connecticut, and bought a house adjoining a local nature preserve, which has a gazebo! It’s not her gazebo, but it’s right there next to her house, which I have to say, was super-strategic of her. I’m impressed. 
I love living with the kids in walkable Oak Park, with shops and restaurants and such on the block, the library and schools in walking distance, etc. But if we weren’t doing this, we’d be living in the woods, I think, just like this.
