This meme is going around, and I just want to say, I disagree. $30 is cheaper than it would cost my family of 4 to see this in the movie theater, and in fact, Jed was visiting, so we all watched Raya together, so 5 of us, and that seems totally reasonable to me during COVID time when we’re not going to theaters yet.
I want Disney, Marvel, etc. to keep making family movies during this time, please. If the expectation is that you’ll have a family of 4 or more watching a movie together, this pricing seems appropriate.
And also Raya in particular was awesome, terrific for representation, full of dragons (always a win for me), and we all enjoyed it immensely, even my ADD kid who finds sitting still at movie theaters to be torture. Recommended highly.
