Call from Anand’s IEP lead this morning, just checking in before school starts tomorrow, giving us a sense of what it’ll look like virtually. Appreciate the time and effort she put in — thanks, Miss Laura! Reassuring.
I asked about things like, “can he turn the screen off for a bit if he needs a visual break” (yes, they’re still figuring out the logistics of that, like, maybe they’ll have the kids send the teacher a chat message if they need to do that), “is it okay if he plays with his fidgets” (yes — ideally they wouldn’t be showing up in the screen, so as not to distract other kids). Etc.
