I’m trying to think about how much events programming I really have time to take on. It’s tough, because I would like to do more, but they’re actually both time-consuming and brain space-consuming (the latter is more of the issue). I can pass some of the work along to Chris, but not that much yet, while we’re still figuring it all out and getting the series established.
Right now, I’m committed to doing the SLF reading series quarterly and the Maram arts show quarterly (with the latest one being repurposed as the Puerto Rico fundraiser). I kind of think I’m at capacity for events organizing right now, which is a shame, because if I could take either or both of those to bimonthly or even better monthly, it’d make it a lot easier to build momentum and audience.
Slow and steady for now, I suppose. By nature, I am really more of a hare than a turtle, though.
