Tim Pratt and River safely arrived and tucked into bed. (Their flight out of Chicago to S.F. was cancelled due to the plane crash in S.F. -- they're not scheduled out of Chicago again until Tuesday!)

I'm sorry they have to go through this, of course, esp. since it means Tim will be missing David Moles's wedding tomorrow. (Congratulations again, David!) But on a personal note, I do like being on a major travel route and having lots of guest space and thereby being able to give succor to weary, lost travellers.

Also, Kavya and Anand are going to get a very nice surprise in the morning, when they have an unexpected playmate. :-)
