I was talking to Cecilia Tan about the cover design for The Stars Change the other day, and passed along a comment from someone who'd seen the galleys at WisCon, that the biggest selling point for this book was my name, and so my name should be bigger. And I felt really weird telling her that, and said so, and she laughed, and agreed. And I wondered whether all brown women would hesitate to say that: my name should be bigger on the cover. Make it so.
