You know I'm not any kind of fashionista, but every once in a while I manage to put together my clothes in a way that I find really visually pleasing. It's funny, because for most of my life, I think visuals didn't matter that much to me. But between gardening and knitting/crochet, I've been paying more and more attention to visual aesthetics, and then the house renovation process and reading all those shelter magazines and books sharpened that interest, so that now, I notice. I notice when outfits are beautifully and interestingly put together, and I just like the way my clothes today speak to each other. All four of these are pieces I've had for years and years, but I've never combined them before. Dark brown boots, textured purple tights, a brown/purple/cream printed dress, and a purple lacy cardigan. I don't have the energy to think about my clothes every morning, but once in a while, it's quite fun. :-)
