What a nice way to start my morning -- gardening and reading, with tea. Is this what retirement will look like someday? Something to look forward to. But for now, back to work.

Just finished replanting my hanging baskets (adding lobelia and million bells to the existing stock flowers), casualties of the week visiting my parents. (Kevin did try to keep the yard watered, and almost everything survived. Almost. :-) Also finished reading The Beekeeper's Apprentice, a thoroughly delightful take on Sherlock Holmes (Holmes takes on a female apprentice!). Thanks for the recommendation, whomever sent it in! I have already ordered the next book in the series.
