Went to VOR 10 last…

Went to VOR 10 last night; was a little sad that I wasn't performing, but I just didn't have time to do the workshops this summer. I was in VOR 3, 5, 7, 8, and 9. :-) 10 was a very polished show, full of great performances from talented folk -- it's kind of amazing how far VOR has come, from what once had a bit more of a community variety show feel.

On the other hand, I do kind of miss the old days, when we had many nervous and earnest poets, shaking a bit as they bared their souls. Which maybe means it's time to start up the DesiLit rapid-fire readings in Chicago again. Tomorrow, I'm going to call the Book Cellar bookstore / cafe, and see if they can find an evening for us in mid-November or early December.
