Local (Oak Park & River Forest) folks — I’m planning to host a meet-and-greet at our house next week for four D200 candidates (Fred Arkin, Audrey-Williams Lee, Kathleen O’Dell, and UIC English professor Dave Schaafsma).
They’ll be joined by a representative from Vicki Scaman (running for village president) — she has a board meeting that night, or she’d be here herself.
If you’d like to be invited, please let me know. All local voters are welcome.
Tuesday 3/18, 7 – 8 p.m. (We may linger past that and talk politics, but the candidates are being run a bit ragged, so I don’t want to make them promise more than an hour.)
Delicious refreshments will, of course, be served. Friends and family welcome. (ACCESS NOTE: We have a cat and some steps up to the front door.)
