So, one of the other vendors at Berwyn Shops bought me a little key lime pie (thanks, Kenia!) from one of the other vendors, Sweet Sherry Pie. It was so delicious that on Sunday, to celebrate my first week at the shops, I bought six of Sherry’s little pies — I wanted to try them all!
I brought them home and made myself a pie sampler, with an eighth of a pie from each. The family also dug in, of course. Anand and Kavi devoured the classic pumpkin pie right away, and Kevin and I made short work of the apple — I think that MIGHT be my favorite? But Kavi also vouches for the cheesecake and key lime pie, as do I, and I was surprised to discover how much I liked the Biscoff pie (based off Biscoff cookies) — I hadn’t had one of those before, and it was SO GOOD.
The pecan pie was fine, but I admit, pecan pie is generally too sweet for me, and this was no exception, so I’m probably just not the best person to judge that one. But the rest, I can recommend wholeheartedly.
Sweet Sherry Pie is part of the Berwyn Shops, open Fri 11-6, Sat 10-6, and Sun 11-5. At Roosevelt and Clinton, 6931 Roosevelt Road. Free parking in the lot next door (to the east), or right in front.
