We had an evening free after touring Scripps and Chapman, and Kavi wanted to visit Venice Beach. So we took friends’ advice (thanks, friends!), and started at the Canal Market. We ended up parking our car and leaving it there, because it was only a 10 minute walk down to the beach. (Beach parking is around $10).
This was a nice place to pick up a basket’s worth of cheese and crackers and chips and fancy drinks, including wine and beer, to take down to the beach. We did wish that they had fresh fruit, but otherwise, worth stopping in.
