We’re in Los Gatos now, for Kevin’s mother’s birthday. This is a pic of her retirement complex where we’re staying — it’s pretty. Lots of flowers. It’s a sad, hard birthday — Ann’s in hospice, and not doing well.
We’re currently scheduled to leave on Monday morning, getting the kids back to Chicago to get ready for start of school. Right now, we’re just trying to spend some time with Ann, as she’s feeling up to it.
